On 01.12.2022, the II Republican Scientific and Methodological Conference with international participation "Actual problems of modern natural science" was held, dedicated to the problems of the development of natural science, improving the quality of natural science education by means of pedagogical and digital technologies. The conference is timed to the 50th anniversary of the RISH, organized by the Department of Natural Science Education and Pedagogical and Technology of the RISH, the organizing committee was headed by Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Viktor Anatolyevich Gaisenok.

Opening the conference, the Rector of the NIHE Yuri Pavlovich Bondar stressed that natural sciences are the basis for the economic growth of national production, and natural science education plays an important role in the intellectual and ideological formation of the individual.

At the plenary session, reports were made by the leading researcher of the State Scientific Institution "Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus", Candidate of Chemical Sciences, Associate Professor Yaroslav V. Dichenko; Associate Professor of the Department of Inorganic Chemistry of the Chemical Faculty of the Belarusian State University, Candidate of Chemical Sciences, Associate Professor Dmitry Ivanovich Mychko; Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the UO "Brest State University named after A.S. Pushkin", Candidate of Geographical Sciences, Associate Professor Sidorovich Alexander Alexandrovich; Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khorazmiy Zakirova Feruza Makhmudovna; Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Chemistry and Natural Science Education of the Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov Belokhvostov Alexey Alexandrovich; Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of the Philological Faculty of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Vyacheslav Kazarenkov; The head of the Biology Department of the Faculty of Pre-university Training of the Vitebsk State Order of Peoples' Friendship Medical University, Lyudmila Petrovna Martynenko.

The moderator was Olga Grigorieva, Head of the Department of Natural Science Education and Pedagogical Technologies of the National Institute of Higher Education, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor.

The conference was attended by scientists, researchers and teachers of 50 institutions of higher, secondary special and general secondary education of the Republic of Belarus, as well as representatives of eight scientific and educational institutions of the Russian Federation and Uzbekistan. As part of the conference, an "Open platform" was held, where representatives of BSU, Maxim Tank BSPU, Vitebsk State Order of Peoples' Friendship Medical University, Minsk College of Entrepreneurship, GUO "Gymnasium No. 22 of Minsk", TutorOnline LLC, (g. Moscow, Russia), the Northern (Arctic) Federal University named after M.V. Lomonosov (Arkhangelsk, Russia).

Following the results of the conference, which was attended by more than 90 people, a collection of materials of the conference "Fundamental Science and Educational Practice" will be published with the financial support of the Belarusian Republican Foundation for Basic Research.
