In accordance with the approved profile, the department provides scientific and methodological support and implements educational programs for advanced training, retraining of managers and specialists in the field of education, internships in the field of educational and information and communication technologies, quality management of education, the functioning of quality management systems of educational institutions, pedagogical measurements, natural science education, the safety of the educational environment and subjects of education.

The implementation of the main activities of the department is provided by a highly professional teaching staff: candidates of pedagogical sciences, associate professors Grigorieva O.N., Grakova V.V., Petrakov V.N., Kurbatsky V.N., Candidates of physical and mathematical Sciences, associate professors Shuplyak V.I., Zaitseva E.M., Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Maksimov S.I., associate professors Shakel E.V., Grinchuk S.N., senior teachers Garnovskaya I.I., Knyazyuk O.V.

The Department carries out educational, methodological, scientific and research work in close cooperation with specialists from ministries and departments of the Republic of Belarus, the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Belarus.

The main directions of the department's educational activities:

Training under the educational program for retraining managers and specialists with higher education in the specialty 9-09-0114-13 "Pedagogical activity of specialists" with the qualification "Teacher". This qualification allows you to carry out teaching activities in educational institutions. Graduates receive a state-issued diploma on retraining at the higher education level.

Training in the educational program of retraining of managers and specialists with higher education in the specialty 9-09-0114-21 "Education quality management" with the qualification of "Manager". The purpose of the training is to train a specialist competent in the field of quality management in the field of education, the development and implementation of quality management systems, as well as in the field of assessment, monitoring and quality control of education, the use of technologies for evaluating educational outcomes.
