The State Educational Institution "National Institute for Higher Education" is a non-profit state-owned organization. Its charter is registered in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities (USR) No. 100296916. The license for the Institution's activities was issued on May 27, 2004 (approved by the Board of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus).

The educational institution's activities are educational activities carried out in accordance with the law through the implementation of educational programs and the provision of educational services.

By Resolution No. 125 of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated February 29, 2020, the State Educational Institution "National Institute for Higher Education" is subordinate to the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus.
