BSU and the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation signed an agreement on academic mobility programs. The document was certified on October 28 by the signatures of the rectors of the two universities, Andrei Korol and Stanislav Prokofiev.
"The agreement details the process of exchange of students, teachers and scientists. It is planned that every year five students from each university will be able to study at partner universities for two semesters," the BSU said. A two-week internship under a short-term mobility program is also provided.
The exchange of scientific and pedagogical workers involves conducting training sessions, joint research, and lectures. "This will contribute to the development and strengthening of bilateral cooperation in the field of education and science," the press service said.
So far, the interaction between BSU and the Financial University has been carried out according to the cooperation agreement signed in 2020. Students and teachers of the two universities took part in scientific conferences, seminars and round tables, organized online lectures.
As the rector of the Financial University noted, today's signing of the agreement is a significant factor, since BSU is the main and authoritative university in Belarus and abroad. Stanislav Prokofiev highly appreciated the experience of the leading Belarusian university in training specialists and implementing effective educational programs among young people. By the way, students of the Financial University are taking part in the international youth forum "M.I.R.", which is taking place these days at BSU.
