The training center for international cooperation in education was established in 2012 on the initiative of the Ministry of education of the Republic of Belarus to solve the following tasks:
- Scientific and methodological support of mechanisms that increase the competitiveness of educational institutions of the Republic of Belarus in the market of international educational services on the basis of the results of scientific research in the education system.
- Organizational-methodological and scientific-methodological support and coordination of educational institutions in order to increase the export of educational services.
- Informational and analytical support of international cooperation of educational institutions, other organizations of the education system and the Ministry of education of the Republic of Belarus.
- Scientific and methodological support for the development of normative legal support for the export of educational services, including the organization of the educational process for foreign citizens.
- Scientific and methodological support of mechanisms for attracting foreign citizens and stateless persons permanently residing outside the Republic of Belarus to study in the Republic of Belarus.
- Informing and establishing business contacts with embassies of the Republic of Belarus, foreign citizens, educational institutions and organizations of foreign States on attracting foreign citizens to study in the Republic of Belarus.
- Organizational and methodological support of presentation and exhibition activities of educational institutions of the Republic of Belarus.
- Implementation of the educational program of training courses (lectures, thematic seminars, workshops, trainings and other types of training courses).
The main objectives of the Center are:
- Assistance in development of export of educational services, expansion of international cooperation of educational institutions, other organizations of education and science of the Republic of Belarus.
- Ensuring coordination of international activities of educational institutions and other organizations of the educational system of the Republic of Belarus for the development of export of services in the field of education and science, organization of international forums, foreign seminars, educational, scientific and technical exhibitions and fairs, etc.
- Attraction of foreign citizens for training in educational institutions and other organizations of the educational system of the Republic of Belarus, assistance to foreign students on the issues of staying in the Republic of Belarus.
- Promotion of academic mobility of students.
- Scientific and methodological support of organizational and methodological activities to expand and diversify the export of educational services of the Republic of Belarus.
- Providing informational and analytical support for international cooperation of educational institutions and other organizations of the education system of the Republic of Belarus.
