Every year on April 28, the International Labour Organization (hereinafter - the ILO) celebrates World Labor Protection Day.

Its goal is to contribute to the prevention of accidents and occupational diseases in workplaces around the world. It aims to draw the attention of the public and governments to the problems of occupational safety and the fate of people injured or killed in the workplace.

Activities aimed at drawing attention to problems in the field of occupational safety and the need to reduce the number of injuries, illnesses and deaths related to work are carried out in many large organizations in Belarus.

The theme of the World Day for Occupational Safety and Health in 2026 is dedicated to ensuring a healthy psychosocial working environment.
