On the basis of the certificate of accreditation BY/112 080.01 issued by the National accreditation body of the Republic of Belarus, the personnel certification body of NIHE conducts:
certification, re-certification and extension of the field of certification of specialists in the field of non-destructive testing in accordance with STB ISO 9712-2016 for 1, 2 and 3 levels of qualification for the following methods of control:
- control by acoustic emission method AT;
- leak monitoring LT;
- magnetic MT control;
- liquid penetrant testing PT;
- RT radiographic control;
- ultrasonic inspection UT;
- ultrasonic thickness measurement UTT;
- visual inspection VT
in accordance with the sectors of production and production sectors.
Product sectors:
- castings (c),
- forgings (f),
- welded joints (w),
- pipes and pipelines, including sheet products for the manufacture of welded pipes (t),
- processed products (wp),
- composite mateNIHEls (p).
Manufacturing sector:
- metal production (combines c, f, t, w and wp);
- pre-operation and operational control (combines c, f, t, w, wp and other product sectors);
- pre-operational and operational control of equipment and pipelines of nuclear power plants (includes c, f, t, w, wp and other product sectors);
- pre-operational and operational control in construction (combines c, f, t, w, wp and other product sectors);
- railway maintenance (combines c, f, t, w, wp and other product sectors);
- aviation (combines c, f, t, w, wp and other product sectors).
After successful completion of the qualification exam and a positive decision of the certification Board, the applicant for certification receives a certificate of competence of the established sample.
The certificate is valid for 3 years.
At present, the certification Body of RIS employs candidates of physical, mathematical and technical Sciences, certified experts-auditors for personnel certification. All examiners are specialists of the 3rd level of qualification of STB ISO 9712-2016 in the relevant methods of nondestructive testing, who carry out practical work on the control of hazardous production facilities and potentially hazardous facilities.
National Institute for higher education offers the most modern in the Republic of Belarus of instruments and equipment for nondestructive testing.
By the decision of The Department for supervision of safe work in industry and nuclear energy of the Ministry of emergency situations of the Republic of Belarus (Promatomnadzor) (April 2003), the National Institute for Higher Education is the parent organization for activities related to training, certification and certification of personnel, and the application of the method of acoustic emission.
As part of the National Institute for Higher Education in conjunction with the certification Body for personnel in the field of non-destructive testing and diagnostics "Sertink" Federal state institution of Scientific and educational center "welding and control" at the Moscow state technical University. N. E. Bauman (Moscow, Russia) created the only Examination center in the Republic of Belarus for personnel certification in the field of non-destructive testing, accredited in accordance with the requirements of DIN EN ISO/IEC 17024:2012 (accreditation DAkkS, Germany).
Certification of specialists takes place in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9712:2012 at 1 and 2 levels of qualification:
- acoustic emission,
- visual,
- ultrasonic,
- capillary methods of control.
A specialist who has successfully passed the certification procedure receives a certificate that provides the right to carry out non-destructive testing outside the Republic of Belarus.
The personnel certification body of NIHE also conducts periodic (annual) certification of specialists in the field of non-destructive testing according to the above-mentioned methods of control.
