The Department of Psychology and Pedagogical Excellence was established in 1994. During the activity at the department, a highly professional teaching staff of like-minded people has been formed, able to provide new content and implementation of the main areas of work of the department that meet modern requirements of higher education.

The purpose of the department is to provide retraining and advanced training of managers and specialists of institutions of higher education and additional adult education in the field of psychological and pedagogical knowledge.

The main tasks of the department:

Retraining and advanced training of teaching staff of the Higher educational institution and the USSO.

Development and scientific and methodological substantiation of the modern model of teaching in institutions of higher and secondary education.

Familiarization of students with the latest achievements of psychology and pedagogy of higher education, improvement of pedagogical skills.

Study, generalization and dissemination of psychological and pedagogical experience of domestic and foreign specialists.

On behalf of the Ministry of Education, a Cabinet of socio-pedagogical, methodological and psychological counseling has been created at the department since January 2017.

The department cooperates with the online publication SCHOOL TODAY.
